An afternoon in Stanley

During the Easter weekend we went with Claire to Stanley. Alex got the drone out and took some pretty cool photos 🙂

Shek O Beach

We have found our favourite beach on Hong Kong Island: Shek O! It’s absolutely gorgeous. We spent a lovely afternoon there early April 🙂  We had a nice lunch at Shek O village and then chilled on lounge chaire on the beach for hours! Alex also got some beautiful photos with his new drone. Enjoy…

Dinner in Sai Kung!

Sunset Peak on Lantau Island!

Early January we decided to tackle a pretty tough hike that promised some stunning views. We got the ferry to Mui Wo on Lantau Island and climbed Sunset Peak – the third highest peak in Hong Kong!

NYE in Hong Kong!

This morning Sophie and I thought we could kill two birds with one stone: explore Kennedy Town (a strong candidate in our list of places we want to live next) and test out the new GoPro! Result is below, enjoy!

Strolling along the beach

This afternoon I decided to enjoy the sunshine and do the short walk from Deep Water Bay to Repulse Bay. Lots of pretty views – enjoy the photos 🙂

Ngong Ping Village and the Big Buddha!

This weekend we decided to enjoy the gorgeous weather and tick something off our list of touristy must-dos: Ngong Ping village and the Big Buddha! Its proper name is the Tian Tan Buddha but Big Buddha is pretty fitting too.

First beach experience at Repulse Bay

This weekend we decided to take advantage of the last few days of Summer (although I doubt it’ll get cold until December!) and go to the beach. Repulse Bay is a really famous beach and we’d heard good things so we decided to head there for our first beach experience in HK.
