First beach experience at Repulse Bay

This weekend we decided to take advantage of the last few days of Summer (although I doubt it’ll get cold until December!) and go to the beach. Repulse Bay is a really famous beach and we’d heard good things so we decided to head there for our first beach experience in HK.

We took the bus from Happy Valley to Repulse Bay Beach – lots of twists and turns but the views were gorgeous. We were expecting the beach to be absolutely packed but surprisingly it was pretty empty!

The beach itself is really nice: there’s lots of trees on the sand for natural shade, clean public changing rooms and toilets and many bars and restaurants nearby if you get hungry.

The water was pretty warm but still refreshing as it was 32 degrees outside, and we even saw a fish as we were swimming 🙂 Enjoy the photos!
